Community Outreach:Speak up in your own community or schools about breast cancer. Bring awareness to those that are unaware of breast cancer and how it affects day to day life. Educating those around you about how it can impact their lives and the lives of others. If they struggle with breast cancer themselves or if a family member of theirs struggles with it, be there for them. Make sure their story is heard. Be the voice for them if necessary. |
Show Your Support:Represent the cause! Through the color pink and the ribbon you are able to show the world that you are in support of breast cancer awareness. Through the simple act of showing your support you are a leader and taking a step into a greater change. Express yourself vocally or through social media. As long as you make sure that those around you are aware you are making a huge difference in the Breast Cancer Awareness Community. Attend events made specifically for Awareness. By doing these simple things you are able to show your support in this Breast Cancer Awareness battle. |
Volunteer:Volunteer at your local hospital or get in touch with a local breast cancer organization. Learning about the disease itself and how to help those who struggle with it is a great way to help out. You can provide information to those that are unaware and spread the word out in hopes of being able to reach at least another person who will volunteer with you in the struggle to spread awareness. Create events and get volunteers to help out as well. Talk to people who are battling the disease and share their stories. Make them feel as if they are not alone in the world. Comfort them and set up fundraisers to help out with the costs of the several treatments they will be getting. |
